Thread: The Look of Love~
WHO: Thierry Gravois and Barclay Grisholt (Thierrclay)
WHEN: April 1, morning
WHERE: The Lake in the Woods
Thierry snuck out of his dorms early and went into the forest. He managed to elude any of the traps that Sphinx left for him, though he wasn't aware if there were any. He got lucky in that sense, and made it to the woods pretty easily. He left his window open the night before and the morning breeze beckoned him to go outside. Even if he had classes in a bit, he was sure he could find the lake and maybe take a quick dip. As a precaution he climbed out of the window, dropping down barefoot next to the wall that made up one side of the Sphinx dorms. He made his way out into the woods and disappeared past the tree line in seconds. The water was cold but Thierry welcomed it. It made him feel awake. It made him feel alive. The last time he'd been there was a little over a month ago at the Polar Bear dive. He couldn't swim for very long, but he would enjoy what time he could there. And he did until he could see the sky was brighter now and it would be time to face a day of classes and clubs and whatever pranks his fellow-students had in store. He emerged from the water with the thick fabric of his jeans clinging to his skin. Thierry shook his head like a dog and the water sprayed in every which way before he slicked it back. He looked around for his shirt and reached for it, shaking it out and slipping one arm into the dusty button-up when he heard what sounded like moving brush. He smelled the air and then turned to see Barclay Grisholt. Normally he might have joked around or tried to say some greeting to get the druid to crack a smile or roll his eyes, but Thierry completely forgot about that. He saw Barclay and a smile tugged onto his face and he decided to leave the shirt unbuttoned. "Bonjour," he said with a wave of his hand, "What brings you out here 'dis time a day?" Thierry walked closer to where the druid stood, a saunter in his step and his eyes looking over Barclay's features. Something was different today. About Barclay especially. Thierry didn't know what it was, but he really wanted to find out. |
