Thread: Tall, Dark, and Hello
WHO: Sara & Bayani
WHEN: Friday, Feb 19, after classes
WHERE: The Woods, near the ocean
The full moon was in a few days and Sara was already starting to feel the tug at her were virus. Having been born a were, lived with weres, and gone to school with other weres, she had her were-fox side pretty well under control. As a result, Sara was able to help the younger or less experienced were-creatures adjust to their changes, help them cope with the moon or with day to day things like heightened senses of smell or hearing, sensitivity to silver, or even just general hormones or reaction times that their animal side brought out in them more than anything they'd ever experienced as humans. Sara had never been just human before, and had never known a different way of life, so her fox senses were as natural to her as walking.
Running was one of the things she loved doing. Foxes were naturally quick and the closeness of the full moon was exciting and giving Sara more energy than usual. Today she was running through the woods as fast as she could in her human form. She sprinted between the trees, blonde hair whipping out behind her as she jumped and cleared fallen branches or thick shrubs that blocked her path. She wasn't following a trail or hunting, she was just running for the pure joy of running and she had a grin on her face. The t-shirt Sara wore was already grass stained from stopping too quickly further back and skidding to a fall. She wore running pants ended about half way up her calves, and her feet, like most weres preferred, were bare.
Breathing quickly but with a steady rhythm, Sara wasn't planning on stopping any time soon, having already traversed the woods from castle to coast and back again. Currently she was on a different track than she usually took, one that followed the cliffs and the rocky beach all the way up until she would come close to leaving the school property.
Spotting a dark haired figure up ahead, Sara waved excitedly. "Hi!"
