Bayani was startled when she took a tumble, having not intended to throw her off balance that way. He skidded to a halt and shot back to her. At least she was laughing and didn't seem too injured. "Noted, don't distract Sara - Vixey - in a race." He didn't have water or anything to help her clean the cut. He didn't notice the blush at all, chalking it up to rush of pain or from the exhilaration of their run.
"Sorry," he said, reaching out to help her start picking leaves off herself. Careful not to touch her but the leaves instead, since that would be crossing boundaries. Bayani was pretty aware of people's personal space, since he preferred to stay to his own. "I promise it wasn't on purpose. I've never seen anyone move like that." He saw the other vampires hunting, and they were graceful and fast, yes. Deadly, too. But her agility was far beyond that, and beyond what he was capable of himself.
"How bad is it?" It didn't look bad, but appearances could be deceiving.
