John smiled to see the pride Ellie had in her powers. At least she wasn't afraid of what she could do. Or she hid it better. "That's responsible of you." He started to say more, but closed his mouth. He didn't need to point out that she had a good reason to need to be responsible after she'd burned her friend. John knew how heavy that kind of responsibility could get.
