Summer : Daniel and Ashton
White wasn't really Ashton's color, but he'd still worn a white shirt and white jacket. He was assessing the palm tree that had sprouted from the pot he'd been standing next to, touching a frond curiously and bending one of the leaves. Hearing his name, Ashton looked up to find Daniel and let go of the captured greenery.
"Daniel," he greeted back. While Ashton, with most people, tended to glower a lot and be continuously unamused, Daniel was a lot like him in that they both had little tolerance for ridiculousness in others. Ashton liked Daniel, if anyone were to ask. He welcomed his presence and conversation, giving a small smile of his own.
"Yes, I suppose." He looked up towards the ceiling, in awe of the magic at work that could make the room look and feel like summer. "Barclay doesn't care for these school dances, but I like the human customs."
Looking at Daniel again, Ashton asked, "Are you here with someone?"
