Summer — Niamh and Ashton
The magical transformation from spring to summer in the room brought a feeling of wonderment to the dragon. Witches, he knew, were gifted in many ways. While he'd originally dismissed them as just humans with flimsy tricks, Barclay and a select few other witches at the school had proven that those tricks could actually become quite impressive. After being kidnapped by the warlock, Ashton had learned that magic wasn't just impressive, but dangerous. In the wrong hands, it became a power that could subdue even a dragon - a thought that the proud Ashton didn't like to entertain.
This magic, however, was beautiful. The tantalizing smells of the meats brought the dragon to the food table, his date left behind with Barclay quite content to uncover the secrets behind the magic in the room. While normally Ashton preferred his meat uncooked, raw and fresh, he'd learned that human food preparations could be rather succulent.
He was sampling a piece of sushi, eyeing it warily, when the girl beside him asked a question. Glancing at Niamh, Ashton shook his head. "These are tasteless."
