Angels & Demons agree no to Dallas
Who: Thérèse and Ambriel
When: After classes Wednesday
Where: Thérèse's garden
The fairy had been taking a great deal of heat for her decision to accept Dallas' proposal. The first coming from her parents, of course. They had heard the name Dallas Gurule before and were not pleased with any part of what they had heard. Her friends from the forest were upset because they believed you had flings with men like him, you married pure fairy men, and the fact that he was a demon only fueled the outrage. She was glad that at least a couple of people at the school saw it as a good thing. Sure they had only known each other for about a year, but with all they had been through, with all that they have worked through, she felt even more in love than when she first thought of them as being in love. He was kind to her, although a bit childish, he cared for his students. He was fun to be with, and after her talk with Jack, she found herself ready to trust that he would never abandon her.
Still. It wasn't easy going through the day when she knew so many thought what she was doing was wrong. Even Davian had expressed concern for her choice. On one hand she was glad to see that the young boy cared so much about her, but it was rather frustrating to feel like you have to explain yourself to others no matter who they were. She was also still frustrated that Lori had done what she did. Sure the demon woman had been kind and caring for her own, but it was such a change from the last experience she, and likely Davian had with the woman. From what she gathered, she nearly fried Davian, and the woman had caused Thérèse herself to have extreme doubts in Dallas' intentions. To be honest, she wasn't sure if she liked the idea of her Davian going off to a woman like that, but it did seem as though Lori's intentions were sincere.
After classes ended, Thérèse retreated to the garden behind her bungalow so that she could clear her mind and perhaps find the answers she needed. Despite the winter's chill, the garden was quite green compliments of fae magic. She used enough to allow the plants to continue their growth uninhibited, but not enough to speed their growth too much. It may be her imagination, but she felt that things still tasted better when grown on their own. As she began to work she began to sing to herself unaware of the approaching visitor, for it was now the angel's turn to object.
