Adrian held the door open for her and followed inside. The hotel was old, and it's age was evident, but it was well-maintained and kept up in a way that played up it's history and elegance. They walked to the dining room and were seated right away, Adrian asking for a table beside the windows that had an ocean view.
He felt like he had a lot to say and wasn't sure where to start. "I'm sorry we didn't do this sooner", Adrian told her. "I've been keeping to myself a lot lately. But it hasn't really helped. Hasn't made me feel any better. Hasn't made anything any more clear for me."
