Kana approached the cooling bits of former stone. She was a little hesitant at first since she had never really tested the limits of her heat resistance, but she went ahead and lifted up a piece of the still cooling stone. It felt no different than normal to her. She could tell that it was hot due to the fact that it was still trying to melt through her fingers. It reminded her of a chocolate bar her brother had given her once when they were unaware of exactly how strong her heat was.
"I've never tried that," she admitted, but of course, there was a first time for everything. She closed her eyes and atempted to do what Mr. Dallas had taught her. Trying to focus all her heat into just her hand. Of course it didn't work exactly right though. Her whole arm burst into flames (burning the sleave of her borrowed t-shirt), but the end result was still enough to turn the piece in her hand from a gooey chocolate bar to a melting ice cream. She grinned at her own accomplishment, "Neat."
