Thread: Outdoors
Who: Daniel Dyami and OPEN
When: Monday, 8/25
Where: outside
Daniel hadn't been very social at all his first month at the school. He kept to himself, reading in his room or making use of the gym or the trails that wove through the woods. The worst of his school experience so far had been the full moon. The cast had been removed from his arm and he'd been kept in one of the dungeons so he wouldn't hurt himself, or get hurt by another creature while sporting an injured wing in his eagle form. Once that ordeal was over, a new cast was put on. Daniel was given the consolation that when the cast would be removed for the next full moon, it might be able to remain off. It was little consolation for Daniel. The healing process for his arm was taking much too long for his liking, though he was being told his healing was going quite well considering how severe the breaks had been.
Now that the school year was approaching, Daniel would be facing a whole new set of challenges. His right arm was his dominant arm, and the cast would make it difficult to do a lot of the things he would need to do. In addition to that frustration, he'd have to start interacting with all the people he'd been avoiding so far. He had met some people, but after the incident of being shot prior to coming to the school, Daniel was finding himself mistrustful of most of these people who were new to him. He didn't know who to trust, so he didn't trust anyone, at least not so far.
Daniel was leaving the gym, where he'd had himself a workout, then showered and cleaned up and changed back into what was becoming his regular style, basketball shorts, a tee, and flip flops, none of which were too difficult to put on one-handed. Daniel exited out into the outdoors. He was in no hurry to get back to his dorm room, which he'd gotten quite bored with, but didn't have anywhere else he wanted to go either. He meandered in the general direction of Ladon House, casually glancing out toward the woods.
