That is too cute im dead. And bless him for his military discipline, she was surely delighted to work with someone who believes that what the Corps does is important even if it isn't exactly sterling. (Necessary sacrifices are another set of her buzz words -- she actually has two prosthetic fingers because she once let herself be captured and tortured so she could infiltrate an enemy base)

Also she mooches food off his bromance up there on the regular, so that's another connection. Plus she knows what it's like to be a transplant from a foreign country so if they're friendly she will check in on him periodically, even though she isn't his handler.
