Oh, she had not wanted to return the sceptre. It might have been just as hard as using it. Using it had been draining. Her inexperience with it had almost completely wiped her out but she had done it nonetheless. Pride and happiness mingled inside of her and did a content little dance. She would gain more independence, not needing to ask her father for every little thing was a welcome change. Her old man's helpfulness was already worn thin from the illusions he had put up in the house. Mind you, having had to indirectly help his brother would probably give him nightmares for days. Bless his poor soul (or the crumbs that were left of it)!

Katherine smiled as she walked down the stairs and knocked on Dmitri's doors. No more teleporting for the rest of the day. The magic she had needed to use to teleport JB and Eggsy had exhausted her too much. She did not want to shred herself.
