Sook finished dabbing at her eyes and felt a lot better for getting it out of her system. "Sorry, it's the hormones, big drop offs and stuff like that," she took a breath and put her tissue back up her sleeve.
Peering over at the baby, Sook felt antsy. She wanted her baby back in her arms, hold her tiny body, rock her and feed her. "She is absolutely the best thing in the world," she nodded softly, "Your Papa wasn't trouble, Abigail. He was the most patient man I'd ever met. That's a rarity."
