It almost seemed daily now that Cristiano would come up to the Sully's pool. He would peek in to see if anyone was near, sometimes quietly swim into his little 'room', and wait for Juliet or a family member to say 'hi!' They were very nice people and the ocean, massive as it was, was quiet and lonely without his handful of mer-friends there.
Today, he quietly moved along the floor with his fingertips dragging gently along the surface. Cris figured he could pop in to see Sookie's progress on her scuba swimming, or just say hey to whoever was in. The woman he found was, while not necessarily intimidating, not necessarily the woman he wanted to see.
Alone time with the parental unit? Terrifying.
For a moment he circled the pool floor as if thinking to go back, but he didn't want to be rude and if she'd already spotted his huge shimmering blue and yellow-highlighted tail, tan skin, or dark hair...well, then he'd be really rude. Ignoring her. So, Cristiano gathered up his courage and rose to the surface.
"Mrs Sully, it's good to see you," he said from the opposite end of the pool.
