Breathing a wonderful sigh of happiness and relief, Abi brought their lips together again for a soft kiss, her palm flat on his collar bone. She hoped he trusted her enough to be so honest with her if it came down to a wire, and she realised it was a gamble but the reward was too good not to make the bet.
"You won't hurt me if you're honest with me, it's all I need," she said slowly, "I just can't stand lies and deceit, Hem. I know you can't either when it comes to women." She hated sometimes that she knew him so well. "But we're going to make it work, aren't we?"
She slid her lips over his neck to distract him, "Now, are you going to come celebrate with me the right way?" she teased, popping the top button of his shirt open.
