"Roger that," he replied, then picked up his bag and started making his way round the edge of the room. He wasn't gonna track snow all over the main floor. "How much for a locker?... Wait. I keep forgetting. There ain't no money here, I know."
He took off his boots once he'd reached the back of the room, and set them in the changing room so that any snow that melted off them would end up in the drains, then started getting ready. He slipped the Nikes on once his coat and bag were all tidied away and walked back over towards the gym guy, winding on the hand wraps as he did so.
"I gotta admit, I didn't know I was signing up for classes when Other-me dropped me off. He didn't even tell me where I was going. But, yeah, you and your friend, you've got a real nice place here," he said, clenching and loosening his fists once he got the wraps sorted. He stopped when he got to the punch-bag the guy had been pummelling when he'd walked in. "What's your name?"
