"Go. Sit," he told them, and gestured for them to go sit down. Once they were over, he risked a quick look in behind the counter and then glanced into the other room (which smelled all kinds of amazing) to make sure there wasn't anyone else in there. He came back out into the front room, reholstering his gun before leaning over to try and catch the smell of the coffee the guy had brought out. It smelled better than any coffee he'd ever had before.
"You're Sookie?" he asked, looking at the woman, then round at the guy as he walked over towards them. "And you're... Ned? Mind telling me what the fuck is going on?"
