"I would have, but she's so small and the weather isn't good for her. She needs warmth and her mother," she said slowly, closer to the woman now though she still had hold of the baby.
The Winter Soldier couldn't understand why anyone would name their child after an apple but she bit her tongue to the comment. Perhaps she was mellowing but holding a wriggling baby was making her feel... something. "I wanted to leave," she admitted and rocked the baby as she fussed. "I'm not sure why I didn't. I'm not sure why I'm talking to you now. I don't know what I am."
The Winter Soldier took a look outside at the snow before she started for the door. "She misses her room." she replied simply.
