Peggy had no idea what was going on with the island inhabitants the past week or so. Ever since the snow had started to fall from the first flake, there had been more and more insanity. It hadn't seemed to enter her house as of yet but she was holding her breath to wake up with the wrong parts or with a mermaid tail. And that was the best case scenario.
Bucky, this Bucky, had somehow been hit by it but Peggy couldn't figure out what it was. She was morbidly curious and had arranged this shopping trip to figure it out in person. He might have been aware of it but she needed to see his eyes to be sure. Steve and her Bucky had taken Stevie to the park to make snowmen and left the baby with her so Mouse would be coming along too.
With the baby on her hip, Peggy opened the door just after he knocked. "James," she smiled, "Come inside, let's warm you up..."
Mouse's eyes followed the man curiously before they turned to Peggy.
