Thanksgiving hadn't always been his favourite time of year; for a while, it'd been more for research than food and family. He was grateful to say that those days were behind him now that he was married to the most beautiful woman in the world and they had their little boy. Bruce had to remind himself that Jacob was growing up and to enjoy the time they had together, especially considering he'd missed so much of it already.
He had been zoned out in the comfort and hadn't noticed Jacob was sleeping until Darce pointed it out. "I think so," he whispered back, "Otherwise he'll wake up with a neck ache again." He slid everso gently out, sliding one arm beneath Jacob's knees and his head.
