Neytiri had spent a lot of time out in the forest since the ghosts started appearing. She'd hoped that they would leave her alone there, but she'd been wrong. She'd seen Tsu'tey and her father, as well as many others that had been lost when Quarritch attacked. Fortunately none of them were angry and some didn't even react to her presence. It still caused a lot of emotions and she needed some time to herself. She found a spot high up in one of the taller trees and leaned with her back against the trunk, sighing softly as she let her mind go blank and just relax.

Eytukan had shown up for Jake as well, questioning his right to call himself one of the People with a horrible whispery sandpaper-type voice and trailing after him as he did his best to get away after all his attempts to reason with the shade failed miserably. His only escape was Banshee, who was only too happy to go flying for a few hours.

They stopped for a moment at the sunstones on the lip of the Weyr, and Jake dug out his phone after a moment to send his Mate a quick message.

"Kaltxi, ma yawne. Can I come find you?"

Neytiri pulled her phone out of the pouch at her belt. She smiled a little and then sent a reply.

"Rutxe" She then sent him a ping of her location to make her easier to find.

He showed his ikran where they were going to, and within seconds they were airborne again. Soon enough, they were flying over where Neytiri had said she would be, but Banshee was unable to land. Breaking Tsaheylu, Jake thanked the ikran for the flight before dropping down into the tree canopy and grabbing hold of a decent-sized branch. A flock of startled birds made just as much noise taking off as he had made as he hit the branches, so no doubt Neytiri knew exactly where he was.

The quick blast of happiness from Banshee, thanking him for providing lunch, helped cheer him up, although he was close enough to the ground that he could see more ghosts milling about.

Neytiri chuckled softly at all the noise he was making. "Like a baby." She looked at him. She was keeping her eyes off the ground. Fortunately the ghosts didn't seem to come up into the trees.
