JR made a beeline for the park after swinging by the diner for a cheese and tomato sandwich and fries for his sister. It would be strange seeing Rhianon so much older when he could clearly remember the day she was born. One of his earliest memories, true, but there nonetheless. The day he saw the pink squirming bundle in his mother's arms.
He spotted her almost as soon as he entered the park, seeing her sitting there on the bench with her phone on top of her purse. She looked so lost, the feeling wasn't an unfamiliar one to him.
"Hey Rhi-Rhi," He called out softly as he drew near, to avoid startling her. "Got your food and a couple different drinks since I wasn't sure what you'd want." It seemed as good an icebreaker as any.
