There was a bright flash of light, almost like a shooting star, though it kept going toward the city until it ended up in the street. Part of the blacktop was scorched and surrounded the thing that landed. Or more accurately, the person. Rory lay in the middle of the scorched part of the ground, curled up as if to protect himself, though he was completely unhurt. He was completely unconscious, though thankfully clothed in the black t-shirt and jeans that he'd been wearing when he disappeared. Anyone who was seeing the scorch from up high would see that it resembled outstretched wings.

Hope felt it when he entered the atmosphere. It woke her up out of a dead sleep. Sleep that she didn't need, but took pleasure in due to the dreams she was able to paint for herself. When she felt the collision she panted softly.

It took all of two seconds for her to locate and teleport to his side. Would he remember her? Would he remember anything? "Hey handsome." She whispered. Knowing he wasn't dead. "You going to lay there sleeping all day?" Light teasing in her tone.

	Rory gasped and sat up suddenly, looking around. He blinked a few times, stared up at the sky for about two heartbeats, and then his eyes settled on Hope. At least he wasn't in pain.
