Luna sighed softly and in the room she went to a tall dresser upon which she had already prepared tea. The tray was picked up by her blue magical glow and she returned to a tiny round table big enough for the two of them. Her bed was grand, round with a canopy, and in color it looked like a waxing moon with white and dark blue pillows and satin sheets. The whole room was dark with silvery white speckles like stars, an obvious night time motif for the night time princess.
"Twilight Sparkle, my sister's most intelligent student, quickly put the pieces together. Through her studies she discovered the way to my defeat; the Elements of Harmony. Together she and her friends--you know of two already upon this island, Applejack and Rarity--gathered the elements and wielded them against me. Their friendship together was more powerful than my own inner demons and I was vanquished." Luna gave a tilt of her head and as she did so she returned to normal; sweet and innocent yet regal and poised.
The princess then poured two tea cups full of steaming, delicious and rich tea. Blue glow everywhere as she did so. Hands were so pointless.
"I returned to my normal self, I gained the right state of mind and the fog clouding my judgement was cleared. My sister forgave me, I learned my lesson, and returned to ruler of the night. Of course it was a while that I still struggled with understanding. I did not speak like the ponies of current time, either. I had much learning to do." She smiled sheepishly.
