Rory followed her to the table and took a seat. He wanted to be angry. To throw a fit and blow things up, but that was the demon side. The angel knew that none of that would change anything. And when he really thought about it, he was just tired. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before looking into her eyes.
"I lost my mom twice in about a month." He kept a hold on her hand, the other running through his hair.
"Max....Dean and Max were engaged. Some bad things went down and Max was there for me. She made me hot cocoa and told me everything was going to be okay. She hugged me and treated me like her kid. She even let me call her mom even though I'm older than she is." A sad smile spread on his face. "She disappeared a while back and then she came back and I thought everything would be okay, but it wasn't." His voice started to get shaky.
"Dean refused to take her back. He didn't want things to go back the way they were. I tried so hard to get her to be patient. To just give him time. I wanted them to be together again. To be happy. But he made it pretty obvious he didn't want her anymore and she couldn't deal with the hurt." He cleared his throat.
"She wanted....to forget. She wanted Dean erased from her memory. The only problem was that erasing Dean also meant...." He paused, a tear rolling down his cheek. Sometimes he cursed the humanity that Sam and Dean had instilled in him. His voice shook a lot as he finished.
"It meant for getting me." He closed his eyes as more tears spilled over.
