Thor nodded in response to Loki, then later to Sif. "I have," he said. "It is not only armor that causes her imbalance." He gave a small, thin smile as he raised his hammer but held his place for another moment. "It is her first battle. It is her first foot to Asgard. We travel the realms for fun, she has never traveled a realm at all." The blond then gave his usual gruff huff and moved forward.
"Brother, Sif. Stay the beast. Katherine will learn her lesson!" His thin smile turned into a wider one the second his heavy hammer cracked against the side of the boar's head. Thor could have beaten the beast up himself, no doubt could the others, but he only wanted to daze it, slow it, and buy Katherine time to make the mark.
"Katherine! Remember what I taught you! Feet apart, bend your knees, dig in!"
The boar did not take kindly to Katherine and bled heavily from its stuck side. It rocked on it's monstrous, piggish hooves and swung around to hit the girl. If the others had not stunned it first, the demi god might have become dust. The elephant-boar roared, a trumpet of rage, staggering, which was dangerous in itself.
