Abe gradually returned to consciousness, his body sluggish and head pounding. He stared up at the ceiling for a moment until it dawned on him that he was in his bedroom back at the antique store. Last he remembered he'd been in Vegas having a delightful time on Tony Stark's money, talking with some other vets he'd run into at the Mandalay Bay Bar. Who would have thunk a Vietnam Veterans reunion would take place in a Vegas casino? Apparently the guys from this unit like to gamble. And drink.

How had he wound up back on the island?

Henry would have been a little more sympathetic to Abe's hangover were it not for the fact that he'd had to practically carry the other man to the apartment from the door. Getting him up the stairs had been an adventure that almost toppled both of them but Henry managed it.

"Good morning." Henry said rather loudly as he came into Abe's room carrying a tray of coffee and juice along with various greasy foods. They made his own stomach turn but many had sworn they were good for a hangover. He didn't try to do anything quietly as he set up the breakfast on the small table in Abe's room.

"I assume you slept well?"

	"Around two in the morning." He'd already been rather soundly sleeping and almost didn't hear the phone ring. "I've still yet to rearrange the photographs in the stairway where you caused then to go askew on the way up." He got up and grabbed the cup of coffee off the tray, bringing it over to Abe. Abe bit back a curse. He knew how much Henry valued a good night's sleep. Being called out at two in the morning to collect his drunken seventy year old son was definitely not on of his list of desired things to do. He glanced at his father with genuine remorse. "Sorry Henry."

"And bless you," he amended a moment later with the coffee in hand. "Aside from hair of the dog there isn't anything better to get a man jumpstarted after a night like that."

Henry never really could stay angry with Abe. Especially when he was genuinely apologetic. "Just...next time make sure you can get home on your own." He knew better than to ask it not happen again.

"Coffee is the better option. It's a special blend I found here on the island." He wasn't quite ready to say where he found it. "And while we were on our way home this morning I ran into Isabel. I'd no idea she went to work so early." He frowned briefly. "She brought you what she calls her guaranteed hangover breakfast." He shrugged and brought the tray over. There were scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and turkey bacon as well as toast and pancakes. "And she has assured me that it's all Kosher, though I told her it wasn't completely necessary."

	Abe certainly hoped it wouldn't happen again, not that bad anyway. A good buzz was enough there wasn't any need to get completely shitfaced, at his age he could fall and break a hip or something and then where would he be? "She's a saint, that Isabel."
