While Cristiano had tried not to stare he hadn't quite succeeded. Okay, either she was so spectacular that he couldn't help himself (possible. false modesty had never been her thing) or maybe merfolk where he came from did cover up a bit after all. That was probably the more likely reason, Juliet decided in the brief moment between his initial reaction and his putting a hand on her back. She knew Kytana was just as excited as she was, but she'd seen him first. Not that it mattered of course, she'd only just met the guy (that handsome, exotic guy) a few days ago. Plenty of time to see where things went if he didn't vanish. This was not going to be a repeat of Thor.
"A sunken ship? really?" That caught her attention. "I wonder where it came from?"
A growl from her stomach indicated more pressing matters. "And when are we eating?"
