If she was a little disappointed that Bucky stopped rubbing her back, it didn't show. Instead, Peggy took the sunscreen and worked some into her long legs and curved thighs, making sure to get every toe. She did burn rather quickly in American sunshine and this was as much preventative than a show for the boys and their own audience of fellow pool-goers. She kept her eyes on them as she rubbed the sunscreen in, remembering how many nights they'd lain in huddled tents in Europe, pretending to sleep.
"Bucky could lose his shirt if we were to sew it to his skin, Rogers," she pointed out, rubbing her thigh. "Do you remember how cold we all were? God, it was freezing. And you talked in your sleep..." she commented teasingly. "But you made a lovely furnace, actually."
