Rachel was nervous. There were so many reasons why she was nervous but first and foremost was, what if her grandmother thought she wasn't living up to her name? She was a good mechanic, able to rebuild a motorcycle almost without looking. She felt like she was at least a decent mother. She kept her babies as happy as little babies could be kept. Or so she was told. She still wasn't sure whether or not she was going to tell her grandmother about Seddrinth just yet. It was a lot to take in. Getting her boys ready didn't take long at all. At not quite three months old they weren't fighting very much when she tried to dress them. She actually got some giggles out of Bobby when she made funny noises as she put his clothes on. She dressed them in some onsies that TJ had given her. They were kind of a joke and they made her laugh. Once they were changed and dressed and ready to go, she headed out of her little house and toward the apartments. It didn't take her very long at all to find her grandmother's apartment. It took her a bit to get the stroller in and out of the elevator, but she managed it. Shifting it off to the side a little, Rachel knocked on the apartment door and then started chewing on her thumbnail as she waited for an answer. |
