"Well, try- just for a little bit," he told her as she got into bed. "Oh, Princess," he sighed softly, wishing he could just take it all away from her. "I don't know. I'll get you some aspirin with that water," he told her softly, patting at her arm a little before he headed to the kitchen.
He put the milk into the fridge at last, and poured her a glass of water, rooting about to see what pain relief he could find for her, and then returning to her bedside with it. "Here we go," he said softly.
