Clem needed this.
With half the city charred and pummeled by the recent invasion, the full moon only a few days behind her, and the tension still seeping into her family life thanks to too many factors to list (but mostly because of her delay in getting used to being shot back in time), the seventeen year old had been twitching for a way to let off some steam. Before she'd been made a werewolf (and back in her own time) she had plenty of avenues for that, most of them having to do with boys. Six months after the attack had been more than a little exercise in maturity in that department- not to mention a few mental and emotional scars that she still needed to work through.
Dancing had always been her go-to. Her lifesaver, and as soon as she saw an opportunity to jump back in, she did so wholeheartedly.
Though she still stopped to find a new dress on her way to Uncle Bucky's celebration party, she was there and cutting a rug with him and anyone who could keep up with her in virtually no time. Since she could walk, she'd been dancing- every style she could learn, from ballet and belly-dance to tap, the tango, and everything modern- including the flips, dips, and kicks of the double-time Lindy Hop.
She'd been dancing with everyone, but mostly her honorary (if not blood) uncle and teasing him about his baby-face for a good hour before her dopamine levels plateaued. Feeling awesome for the first time in a while, but also insanely thirsty, Clem flipped her loose, dance-wild hair and the skirt of her dress on her search for a tall glass of water.
