Clint's entire body felt numb. Like he wasn't even really in his body. He was laying in a field in the middle of nowhere just staring up at the sky. He remembered this. It was not long after he and Barney ran away to the circus. They were outside a farm town and Clint would lay in the grass at night and just count the stars. After his chores were done, of course. He smiled up at the sky. The moon was full and not quite at its full height. It was a beautiful night.

The moon rippled, as if in a reflection pool where a pebble had dropped. The fullness took on a shape, the vision of a horse's head and neck with a long horn from her brow. There was a breeze, shadows stretched across the ground, and a woman appeared nearby. Her gown of midnight blue and silver sparkle fluttered in the wind she had created upon her entrance, which now died slowly as she stepped into the dreamscape in full.

"Clint Barton," she called with a small smile.

	Clint's brown furrowed as the moon changed. He then sat up when he heard his name called. That voice was very familiar but the name wasn't quite there just yet. He could almost feel an itch at the back of his mind like he knew it. "Um....hi." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He got to his feet and walked over to her, standing just out of arm's reach. "Luna....I. I know you." He furrowed his brow again. "We're....friends, right?" The scenery around them changed and they were standing in a living room. "I'm not awake right now, am I?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	If Clint recognized her in form, he likely wouldn't recognize her voice. Luna was working now and did not sound childish or youthful. She sounded mature, professional, and wise. "We were friends, once...many cycles ago." She tilt her head and looked around. "No, you are not awake. You are still unconscious." Her blue eyes turned back up to his face. The princess nodded. "Yes, I was." She agreed while looking around. It all felt very distant to her and yet still equally as painful. Luna did her best to avoid speaking on the subject. She did not want to sway his opinion of her or make him feel as if he needed to be with her again. That was not her purpose for visiting, which was why she had so little to say. Still...

"You took me on this vacation," Luna's hand moved around. "To see the Giant Mouse and his friends."

	Luna took his hand as well and nodded. "I will go and tell the doctor," she said as she looked up at him. 	She gave a squeeze in reply before letting go. As she turned and walked away her wings open and she danced into the sky. The moon resumed its normal appearance as she was gone from his subconscious... When she returned to reality she looked down at the man's body in the bed, then went to go find Henry and alert him of Clint's head ache. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

In the waking world, Clint slowly opened his eyes. Henry came in after Luna found him and gave Clint a thorough looking over. There were a couple more tests done and everything seemed to be going great. Better than Henry originally thought.

It was roughly six hours after his visit from Luna before Clint was awake and able to have visitors. He was propped up in bed, with the bandage still around his head, and trying to decide if he wanted to try watching TV. His eyes weren't focusing quite right but Henry said that was normal with his type of head injury and that it'd fix itself in time.

Luna had come and gone until allowed back in. She had lingered and watched through the window at the hall. It didn't seem right to leave him there. No one else had come to see him that she had seen--that didn't mean they hadn't shown up, of course. Still, after everything, and now his memory, she couldn't bring herself to abandon him.

"I'm glad you're doing well," the princess said as she entered the room once visiting hour began.
