Just like it'd been for the several months of the last year, every full moon. The same memory on repeat in her head, and reality- Clem's life on a loop; Twelve hours of raging teenage hormones pumped by the tides, followed by thirty seconds of absolute mind-altering torture... then nothing. Nothing until the birds sang and the warm sun (or pounding rain, depending on her luck that month) woke the seventeen year old up.

Today it wasn't raining, at least. And Neville Longbottom's magical barrier seemed to work, given the lack of throbbing soreness Clem knew came from the wolf beating itself against any cage wall or bars it felt contained by. Just over-worked muscles and the scratch of dead leaves and underbrush poking her naked body in uncomfortable places. As consciousness seeped in from sleep, she opened her eyes.

Directly in front of her was a body.

"...shit-!" Clem jerked back over the fallen tree she'd curled up beside as a beast, stumbling over it in a manner most undignified for someone who called herself 'dancer'. Only after she caught herself and pushed the wind-wild hair out of her eyes did she realize what kind of body it was. One of those alien things that swarmed the island less than a week ago- obviously some were still wandering around. It's throat and guts had been eviscerated, thrown about the area in a frenzy- obviously she hadn't wanted it for food.

Or the three others of it's kind (and their dismembered limbs) that were nearby- and who knew how many more she'd found inside the wide space her magical enclosure included. Clem looked at her hands- they were black and greasy with whatever filled those things, all the way up to her freckled biceps. Her face was smeared with it too, from nose to collar bone. It even coated her feet up to her knees. "Oh god-" The lurching sensation started deep in her stomach, stirred by how fast she'd moved and being away in the first place. She threw up over the fallen log, and not from the grizzly sight. Whatever was in those things obviously didn't agree with her stomach.

After her stomach settled and Clem hunted down her bag of clothes (and bottle of water, thank god for forethought), the girl started to make her way out of the woods by smell- she could retrace the steps she took yesterday easily.
