She returned, as she did every evening, to check on the castle. She landed and swept over the balcony into her room for a drink of water and food. Luna kept herself separate from her friends until she returned for the daylight hours when she slept. Her powers were fueled by the moon and she was stronger then. Besides, she would be too tired to function during the normal hours of her friends.
But she was not prepared for Sean to be in her room and she shrieked a bit, startled, before laughing. Then she frowned.
"What are you doing up here?" she asked, clearly concerned. "If the tower were to be hit and fall you could be harmed." She didn't want that and her eyes betrayed her upset for affection and kindness.
