Hannibal was lost in thought, staring at the scrubs in the black bag that were covered in Sookie's thick blood. He saw her blood in a very different time to this and he immediately wondered what Loki had done if anything. His thoughts moved to Abigail again and the frustration he felt. But it wasn't all frustration. The young woman would have to learn for herself.
His head turned slowly in the direction of Sookie's weak rusty call. He walked back into the main room of the basement, dressed in his pyjamas. His eyes assessed her as much as he could without touching her. "Be careful." Hannibal had to be careful too. He wasn't sure what he was going to face so he kept his distance. "Don't try to sit up just yet."
God, it had been so long since he was this close to her.
