"Aye, maybe you'll get a chance," he smiled. "Take you for a drive along the coast, as long as it's not too far in the past and we'll scare the hell out of the locals," he laughed as they smoothly curved a bend in the road.
"I did skip a good few years!" he reminded her with a bit of a laugh. Thirty-four didn't seem so old on the island, not when people lived so much longer, supernaturally even.
"Yes, most of the time. Not the constantly losing people part, but- aye, it's a better life than I had, I suppose."
