Discord pout, but moved away and did as requested. He rather liked this one, perhaps because she was the first person to talk to him seriously, perhaps because he felt something in her that she was hiding...or maybe because he really wanted that crepe. Regardless, he snapped--which seemed all too impossible for a lion's paw and yet the sound was there and he was back to his human self.

"Have I frightened you? I am terribly sorry," the man replied as he posed his hands together in prayer and gave a bow. "I can get a little...out of my mind when I'm excited, is all!" His reflection on the window, any metal surface, and even pictures still showed his true form. Had that always been that way? Or was this his doing?
"Maybe I could show you sometime?" he offered. "Outside where there is room?" he seemed to be trying to make amends.
