He wished this were a game. Thor wished he could wake up from an awful dream. To top all of this off he still had more to tell her. He had to tell her of Loki, his redemption of himself and how he was a live and well. He had to tell her of Katherine and how he lived with her, his niece, Lokadottir.
Maybe that was too much for this immediate moment in time...
"I would agree," Thor then nodded at Sif. "It is not an awful place, I do not do justice to these lands, but there is no pulse of life. I am drained from doing nothing. I train, naturally, but it is not enough." Humans. They didn't stand a chance save for the select few Avenger's and, well...he couldn't bring himself to ask Captain Roger's or Stark to spar him. They seemed so normal with their family lives that he didn't want to bother him.
He felt a little left behind, which was strange because he was sure he did not desire that life. Not now.
