It was mother's day! A beautiful time of the year that Rarity finally got to celebrate. The best part about today was that it was quiet. Her newborns were sleeping, she was letting Amethyst rest in, and she had found the tranquility of the earlier hour so comforting, energizing. She poured herself a cup of tea and stepped out to the beautiful wrap-around patio of her grand home that she was so glad was filled with children. They were not Art but they were part of him and that was what mattered most.
Sighing, the unicorn bowed her head and took a deep breath before letting it out slow. When she raised her head to sip her cup she stopped with the porcelain to her lips and blinked. Oh my goodness!
"Just hold on one moment, darling!" Rarity called to the man just on the outskirts of her beach home land before running inside. It had only been a week and a half but she seemed somewhat resilient in her pregnancy recovery. Perhaps that was the animal in her, now. She had rested, surely, and covered up whatever unattractive means had been left behind. She was sore and parts of her were tender but she was not stopped from functioning.
When she returned, Rarity hurried down the steps in her bare feet to the warm sand carrying a large blue and white striped towel in one hand with a pair of men's boxers (maroon) and a t-shirt (heather grey) in the other. "Ah...Good morning."
