"Oh, it's nice, certainly," he smiled, although there was still a certainly nostalgia to his tone as he caught up to her. "I suppose I do. I'm used to moving about a lot, to being surrounded by people- it's very static, and sometimes lonely here," he explained. "But I am glad to have met you," he added quickly.
It was difficult to explain what one's own time was like when it was all that one was used to. "It's um- not as magical as where you are from. We don't have all the gadgets and so on that are here- no uh- television, or internet, or- tablets?" he tried to remember the correct word.
