Peggy blinked and then broke out into a weak but wide smile, "You'll see one day, when you're the first person she wants to tell that she's engaged, that she's pregnant. When you walk how down the aisle and she kisses your cheek, you'll know how much you mean to her and that it's the same as she means to you."
Her fingers had slipped and her voice was a near whisper. "Might not be much longer," she said, feeling blood trickle underneath her arm.
