Eddie gave her an admiring look - how could he do anything else? She was beautiful. But it wasn't that he was interested in. Well...not entirely. There were lots of pretty girls in the world, but there was something about her...a depth in her eyes that made him want to know her better. A whole lot better.
"You look amazing," he said, running a hand through his sandy blonde hair a bit nervously. "Of course, you always do," he said with a shrug.
He took a few steps inside, looking around, before shoving his hands in his pockets.
"So, um, I think we should..." Go out. Great, Eddie. That's not dumb sounding or anything. "I really -" Like you. Great, third grade now. He was a Guardian. It was physicality he was good at. Not words.
With a sigh, he turned back towards her, closing the distance and pulling her into his arms. And then he kissed her. Tenderly, caringly. There was hunger in it, but it wasn't animalistic or violent, it was a gentle, sweet sort of kiss that promised more just like it.
