Bud Hammond smiled between the two men before addressing everyone in the seats.
"I have had the distinct privilege of officiating the weddings of both of my sons. Though it did take a bit of convincing Madam President for that to happen." He paused while some people chuckled and Elaine rolled her eyes. "If anyone has any objections to these two getting married, keep your trap shut because it's happening whether you like it or not."
TJ laughed and shook his head. That was definitely his dad. He just smiled and motioned for his dad to continue, which got a few more laughs.
"Now, TJ told me that he didn't want any Bible verses read and for once I'm actually going to follow some instructions so we'll just get started. Do you, Thomas James Hammond, take this man to be your husband. To honor and cherish in good times and bad, for better or worse, rich or poor, as long as you both shall live?"
TJ reached over and took Tim's hand, squeezing gently as he looked him in the eye. "I do." His voice shook the tiniest bit, thick with emotion. Bud then turned to Tim.
"Do you, Timothy Daryl Dixon, take this man to be your husband. To honor and cherish in good times and bad, for better or worse, rich or poor, as long as you both shall live?"
