Tom smiled. He couldn't help it. A few of his friends back home had said that once you left that lovey dovey phase of being in love, relationships got hard. It was easy to lose sight of why you fell in love.
It wasn't for Tom. Sure, he wasn't a complete idiot anymore when he was around easy (he'd definitely shed the 'complete') but it wasn't hard to see why Izzy was special. Why Vi and Lily were. And all the rest.
So Tom smiled the brightest smile he had to offer. "Yeah, you know all these grown up kids make parenthood easy."
