Sunset, Shepard and JR
She'd definitely felt welcome, there was no doubt about that. Even if she did feel bad about Izzy going out of her way to do so. It was nice. And she had been content in watching the young woman's family frolic in the waves, and play in the sand. Her time with the Johnsons hadn't been long enough to see them do anything like it, and it had been a very long time since she'd seen anyone enjoy such gaiety.
An almost cheeky smile turned up her lips as JR approached. She enjoyed the easy teasing that had settled between them. "Ready and able." She pushed herself up out of the lounger. Keeping spry and limber was harder on the island than it had been in space, but she wasn't feeling the creaks and pains of years of war just yet.
Shepard offered him a little salute once she was upright. "You look like you might be feeling that in the morning though."
