Ernest nodded along as she spoke, never bored in the slightest when she started to speak about her area of expertise. Quite the opposite, in fact- he enjoyed seeing her passion for words come out like that. "Yes, that's definitely true," he agreed. "You can probably explain that better than I can. All I know is that I've ended up with kids who can communicate better than I ever could, and I really wanted that for them, too," he explained, realising that it was quite a deep talk to Club Tropicana, but that was one of the things he loved about her. They could talk about anything anywhere.
He laughed softly, and gave her a nod. "Yeah, it's a very different lifestyle, that's for sure," he admitted. Going back to the States probably grounded him.
"Ernest Fucking Hemingway," he tried it out, and then gave her a nod of approval before he laughed again at how completely ridiculous it was.
