Admittedly, Thor had sort of been avoiding the true appearance of his niece and the family she came with. Not that that should be taken in the bad way, he had no hatred or malice but rather it just got forgotten sometimes when they were training, laughing, enjoying the company of one another doing stupid little things around the house. Cooking, eating, talking. Though he kept a thoughtful look about his features he internally seemed to cringe. In that moment he missed his brother and wished he was there. He would have liked to see Loki working with Kat, to be there side by side as family. Blood bound or not, they had made mistakes.
Listening to Laura, Thor nodded. It made sense but he was no magic user and so he let the tiny woman take care of business. His arms crossed against the cold, strong muscles bulging as he did so, shifting in place to release the frost from his feet. There was a delightful ferocity in the way she had hit the floor but there was so much grace in the way his mother had cast spells, even the way that Loki focused his power through various other means than physical force. However, we all had to start somewhere. Thor was proud Katherine could perform such a trick, regardless! He certainly had no magical gift.
