Kat caught her hair into a messy pony tail - a house viewing was hardly a party - and shrugged into a t-shirt, skinny jeans and leather jacket. She snatched the camera off her desk and stored it into a bag. Taking a few pictures of potential places could not hurt and would allow her to take Herc out again. She was actually excited by this. While she did admire the mansion, it had never felt like something that could be her home. It was too much the place of someone else.
A quick glance at the watch revealed that she was already late. Shit! She was horrible at keeping track of time. She teleported down to the kitchen, grabbed an apple - who needed more for breakfast? - and rushed into the hallway where her uncle was already waiting. "Sorry," she said with an excusing smile. She still couldn't quite believe that Thor was willing to leave his friends to live with her. A part of her went as far as saying that he shouldn't. Most of the time she managed to justify her actions to herself but a guilty conscience was occasionally stabbing through her carefully crafted believes.
"How are we gonna get there?" she asked and took a bite of the apple. They could both use their separate methods and meet up in a few minutes or choose a different route.
