Neville set the little plant down gently and brushed his hands together to get at least most of the dirt off. He wasn't sure if all of the brightly colored flowers would last after whatever this thing was ended, but Hope looked pretty gorgeous surrounded by them. He was a little, surprised, by the new information and just looked at her outstretched hand for a moment, trying to comprehend why she'd held it out to him.
When it finally hit him his feet seemed to trip over themselves for a minute, but thankfully he didn't fall, just ended up a little bit closer to her than he'd been planning. "It's...sweet?" he murmured, taking hold of her hand gently. It was a pretty stark contrast from her soft, pale skin and his rough, dirty ones and he almost felt bad for it. He leaned down and kissed her palm, then licked his lips. "You're right." he smiled, blushing.
